**DR. KAPILA VATSYAYAN** **DR. KAPILA VATSYAYAN** is an internationally renowned scholar, an authority on Indian Classical and Folk Dance Traditions. Author of several books on Indian Arts, Kapila ji has done yeoman service to the cause of Indian Performing Arts with her path-breaking interdisciplinary approach. Her book on Classical Indian Dance has set very high standards of scholarship. She is singularly responsible for envisioning and shaping the Indira Gandhi National Center for Arts, New Delhi.
