She pursued M.A. in Music (Veena) from Bharathidasan University and Ph.D in Music from Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam. Her topic of research is “Ajjāḍādibhaṭla Nārāyaṇa Dās’ ‘Śrī Yathārtha Rāmāyaṇamu’- A Critical Study”.
