HARIKATHA: Ādibhaṭla Nārāyaṇa Dās' Era in Indian Classical Music and Dance traditions- Introduction
> **About the Author: K. Savithri Devi is the great granddaughter of Śrīmad Ajjāḍa Ādibhaṭla Nārāyaṇa Dās. She received M.A. and M.Phil in English from Nagarjuna University. She pursued M.A. in Music (Veena) from Bharathidasan University and Ph.D in Music from Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam. Her topic of research is “Ajjāḍādibhaṭla Nārāyaṇa Dās’ ‘Śrī Yathārtha Rāmāyaṇamu’- A Critical Study”. She is an active member of ‘Śrīmadajjāḍādibhaṭla Nārāyaṇa Dāsa Kathā Gāna Kaḷā Pariṣat- Guntur’ which organizes events to commemorate the Jayanti and Vardhanti of Śrīmad Ajjāḍa Ādibhaṭla Nārāyaṇa Dās every year.
She retired having taught English and French for tenth to under-graduate levels. She contributed poems and articles in English to various journals. Her book of poems, ‘Drops in Rain’ was published by Poets Press, Madras in 1984. Her blog can be accessed at dropsinrain.blogspot.com.**
